Cocopeat is an excellent medium for use as a mushroom casing. It can be used by itself or in a blend with a good source of frozen black peat.

Extensive trials are being conducted in Australia using Cocopeat as a mushroom casing. These trial results will be made available here as soon as practicable.

Trials to-date using Cocopeat and Black peat have repeatedly shown increased yields, and brighter and firmer mushrooms.
